No doubt you’ve been following the Rolf Harris scandal since it broke back in 2013.

In 2014 he was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison, and he was due for parole in the middle of this year – and finally he’s a free man.

The disgraced Aussie entertainer has been released from prison on bail while he faces a fresh trial for another string of allegations against him.

Harris is currently standing trial again over four charges of indecent assault against three girls back in the ’60s and ’70s.

He is set to be released from Stafford Prison in a few hours, before appearing back in court on Monday.

As NewsCorp reports, the 87-year-old had been given permission to attend court proceedings via video link from prison due to his age.

However, Judge Deborah Taylor granted Harris bail and reportedly told the jury not let that impact any decisions they make in his case.

As with the charges he was found guilty of back in 2014, Harris maintains he is innocent and has pleaded not guilty.

For the next two weeks, from Monday, the court will hear more evidence from Harris’ accusers and from the entertainer himself before the jury makes their decision.

What do you think? Should Rolf Harris have been released on bail?
