Every year all of our favourite celebrities head out for the annual MET Gala, dressed to impress – or to shock, as many of them seem to enjoy doing – to the theme of the year set by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. The Gala is very much about the fashion, with what they wore being one of the most anticipated features of the day. The aim seems to be to stand out, and to be talked about, which is something many of the celebrities attending the event do well.

This year saw our very own Australian favourite couple Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness step out at the huge event, with Jackman looking as dashing as ever in a classic tux by Dolce&Gabbana and bow-tie, while wife Furness made a statement in a black dress by Leah Huntsinger which stood stiffly around her shoulders and had fringed trim, tousled hairdo, fishnet stockings and towering platforms. The whole look was accessorised with with some sparkly bling – long earrings, multiple bangles, and large rings from Lorraine Schwartz.
