George Clooney reveals: How fatherhood is already changing me

George and Amal Clooney got married almost three years ago.

George Clooney has already made one major lifestyle change, even though his twins aren’t due for months.

The handsome actor says he’s given up travelling to riskier destinations, as has his human rights lawyer wife Amal. Friend and actor Matt Damon  revealed earlier this month at Amal was pregnant with twins.

“We decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger,” Clooney told Paris Match while he was in Paris to receive a Cesar award.

“I won’t go to South Sudan any more and to the Congo, Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she’ll avoid places where she knows she isn’t welcome.

This was a big change in attitude, Clooney admits.

“Before, I didn’t care, I would even say that there’s a pretty exciting side to going where no reporter had ever been,” he says.

But the Ocean’s Eleven star stays the family won’t stop globe-trotting, at least until their twins are due to start school.

“We have the chance to live between three countries: Italy, America and England,” Clooney reveals. “But as soon as the children go to school, it’ll be necessary to choose where to settle. In the meantime, we will continue to move according to our respective schedules.”

“People think we’re never together, but we have not been separated for more than a week,” he adds.

The actor also took the opportunity to shoot down another rumour, saying that despite talk the couple are having a boy and a girl, they don’t know yet what they’re having and don’t intend to find out.

Are the Clooneys sensible to avoid risky situations now they’re about to become parents? How did you change your life as you prepared for a family?
