At Nomad the Label, every collection is a step forward in comfort, care, and conscience. With our latest collection Boronia, we introduce our first garments crafted in Good Earth Cotton®, an Australian-grown fibre farmed with the health of our land at its heart. Verified by FibreTrace, every piece can be followed from soil to stitch, giving you confidence not just in how it feels to wear, but in the story behind it.
The Journey Behind Every Thread
Over a decade immersed in nature shaped our founder Louisa’s view of what truly matters. From those early days on the road selling handcrafted pieces at outdoor markets, she learnt how the earth cares for us and how we can care for it in return. That understanding guides Nomad the Label today. It informs every fabric we choose and every partnership we form.
This connection to the land isn’t just philosophical for us at Nomad the Label; it’s woven into every decision we make, every fabric we choose, and every partnership we forge.
With this new partnership with Good Earth Cotton® and FibreTrace®, we are taking another intentional step forward. Cotton that feels softer on your skin, farming that’s kinder to the country, and a journey you can trace with complete clarity.

Meet Good Earth Cotton®
Good Earth Cotton® was created by Sundown Pastoral Company, a certified B Corp led by Danielle and David Statham. It’s a climate-positive farming program that captures and stores more carbon than it emits. The Good Earth Cotton® in our garments is grown on family-owned Australian farms renowned for thoughtful land management. Farming centres on living soils, careful water use, and seasonal rotation to build resilience and biodiversity. Plant residue is returned to the earth to protect moisture and reduce erosion. Australian growers select varieties suited to our climate, which supports strong yields with less water per bale. The result is cotton that feels beautifully soft, breathes in warm weather, and holds its shape wear after wear.
When you choose Good Earth Cotton®, you choose more than beautiful clothes. You’re supporting farming practices that regenerate the land, transparent supply chains that honour every worker’s contribution, and Australian agriculture that works with nature, not against it.
For women who have learned that quality matters more than quantity, that comfort and conscience can coexist beautifully, this is fashion that reflects your values.
What FibreTrace® Means
Traceability lets us verify what we say. At the gin, a tiny luminescent marker is bonded to the cotton. As the fibre moves through spinning, knitting, dyeing, and making, that marker is scanned and added to a secure digital record. Each scan logs time, place, and the independent auditor. By the time a garment reaches you, there is a clear story from farm to finish that we can check in real time.
This technology means accountability at every stage. When cotton arrives at the spinner, it’s scanned to confirm it’s Good Earth Cotton®. The yarn is scanned before shipping and recorded on blockchain. At the fabric mill, another scan verifies content and tracks movement. When fabric reaches our factory, it’s scanned again to confirm the Good Earth Cotton® and record its journey.

Spring brings us back to what endures: the soil beneath our feet, wild grasses dancing in coastal winds, an endless blue sky meeting a deeper blue ocean, and native blooms painting the landscape in colours that feel like memory itself.
Our Boronia collection honours the raw honesty of nature, weaving Australian-grown Good Earth Cotton® and organic French linen into forgiving, breathable silhouettes. For the first time, we introduce knit pieces, bringing new texture and softness to Spring dressing. Two new hues, Tuffet and Elm, sit quietly alongside our timeless palette, grounded in the colours of sky, sand, and stone.
Designed to move with you from open skies to sunlit rooms, Boronia carries the spirit of an Australian Spring wherever you are.
