Pamela Anderson pens bizarre love letter to Julian Assange

Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson has published a lengthy open love letter to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, confirming long-held speculation the pair are in a relationship.

Taking to her website to pour out her heart, Anderson made an impassioned plea for her Australian boyfriend to be allowed to walk free from the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK and granted asylum in France.

Assange has been holed up in the embassy for five years after fleeing Sweden over sexual assault allegations.

She also discussed at length how sexy she thinks Assange is, before calling British prime minister Theresa May the “worst Prime Minister in living memory”.

“Thinking of Julian makes me wonder, what is the sexiest quality in a man?” she wrote in the 1000-word letter.

“Surely the sexiest qualities in a man are bravery and courage. Sexiness in a man is showing strength. Having convictions and having the courage to stand by them.”

She went on to claim Assange had been unfairly persecuted by the US government for releasing thousands of classified documents about military action in the Middle East and said he was responsible for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama no longer being in office.

“He was trying to show the world hidden crimes that would change our minds and eventually stop the war in Iraq,” she wrote.

“And he won … Revolutions happened across the world. The Pentagon stood down. Secretary of State Hillary of Clinton is no more. The Obama administration is gone.”

Of course, the Obama administration would have ended in 2016 regardless of the Wikileaks leak because the US constitution puts a two-term limit on all presidents.

Anderson wasn’t done yet though.

Following a strongly worded diatribe against the UK government, she implored French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte to have dinner with her at her vegan restaurant and discuss how they could help Assange.

“As a resident of France, my adopted home, I would like to meet with you and discuss Julian’s situation,” she pleaded.

“I am opening a new vegan restaurant in France in July, and I would like to extend my invitation to the new President and his First Lady.

“Join me on the day I open the doors, and we will sit and eat good food and discuss what can be done for Julian.”

She ended the letter with the poem Invictus; the powerful verses made famous by Nelson Mandela, who recited them to his fellow inmates while imprisoned on Robben Island.

The French government is yet to respond to Anderson’s request for a meeting. You can read the full letter here.
