MasterChef judge George Calombaris makes his bread and butter by telling wannabe chefs to get out of the kitchen if they can’t handle the heat but in an ironic twist, the celebrity chef is in hot water himself.

Colambaris, 38, has pleaded guilty to assaulting a 19-year-old man at the grand final between Melbourne Victory, of whom he is a fan, and Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium.

Colambaris was caught on camera losing his temper with the teenage Sydney FC supporter and pushing him in the chest following the game.

The Sydney Morning Herald today reported that his barrister Brenden Green entered a guilty plea on behalf of client Colambaris who was not present.

He was charged with common assault after the video emerged despite apologising the day after the grand final.

“I was offended by a spectator yelling out abusive and derogatory comments about my family,” he said in a statement at the time.

He has yet to be sentenced.

How do you think he should be held accountable?
