Bindi Irwin slams romance rumours between mum Terri and Russell Crowe

Bindi Irwin wants to get something straight: Russell Crowe and her mum Terri are not in love. 

“There’s lost of crazy rumours,” she told E!’s Daily Pop.

“You know we do love Russell, but mum and Russell aren’t actually in love!”

While she said her “entire family” loved the Oscar winning actor, her late father Steve was still “very much” the love of Terri’s life. 

“My dad is still very much my mum’s soulmate,” she said.

“And I think that no matter what, Mum always says that they’ll always be married.” 

Bindi went on to explain that for her mum, Terri and Steve would always be together. 

“In this life and the next, they’re a couple and a team,” she said. 

“So I think that’s really important.”

The bubbly teen went on to praise Crowe for his contributions to Australia Zoo. 

However, she insisted her mother and Gladiator star were “just friends”. 

“Russell is a wonderful wildlife warrior,” she said.

“He was a dear friend of dad’s, now a dear friend of ours.

“He feels like family to us, but mum and Russell? Just friends. For sure.”
