According to regular camper and mother-of-three, Larissa, from Pop Up Princess Blog, a lanyard is the perfect camping accessory, especially if you’re not a fan of clutter and hygiene is a priority.
If you’ve ever had to rummage through your belongings to find your shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser, then you’ll be happy to find out the lanyard will come in handy.
“In the beginning, we just had color coded travel bottles, but the idea of setting our supplies on the shower floor gave me the creeps,” Lorraine says on her blog.

“We also had a few bottles that got left behind, and I knew I had to come up with a different solution, so I made these,” she adds, sharing an image of her lanyard creation.
Lorraine makes her own lanyard using a nylon strap, metal rings, Velcro and clips, but you could easily purchase your own lanyard from a store and clip your travel-sized moisturiser, shampoo and conditioner bottles using small carabiners.
Then simply hang them up on the hook in th public camping shower and you’re ready to go.
