Singing sensation Cliff Richard delights fans with 2025 Aussie tour announcement

It’s been almost twelve years since singing sensation Sir Cliff Richard last graced our shores but that is soon set to change after the British pop star announced Australia and New Zealand dates for his Can’t Stop Me Now tour in 2025.

Billed as “a once-in-a-lifetime experience”, fans will be offered a rare opportunity to witness one of music’s all-time greats perform timeless classics such as We Don’t Talk Anymore and Devil Woman.

Sir Cliff used his birthday on Monday, October 14 to announce the upcoming show, telling fans he couldn’t wait to begin his tour Down Under.

“I am delighted to announce that I’m going to be on tour again in 2025 to celebrate my 85th birthday,” he began.

“You can’t stop me now because I’m going to be, on the 1st of November, back in Australia and New Zealand.”

Sir Cliff’s announcement received a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm from adoring fans, many expressing how they can’t wait to see him perform again while wishing him a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday Sir Cliff. Hope you have a wonderful day. Wow a tour. What a lovely surprise for us. Thank you so much and see you next year,” one wrote.

“I think you going to all the effort of getting to your fans over in New Zealand and Australia is amazing Cliff. They will appreciate it so much.”

“Happy Birthday Cliff. I’ve been wondering if you would do anymore tours. This is great news and I can’t wait,” commented another.

“Fantastic news.”

During his impressive career, Sir Cliff has sold over 250 million records worldwide, securing his place among the best-selling artists of all time.

Outside of music, he earned a knighthood in 1995 for his charity work, making him the first pop star ever to receive such an honour.
