Princess Charlene of Monaco has shared a photo of herself in South Africa as she recovers from surgery, amid continuing rumours of a rift between her and husband Price Albert II.

The Princess has been recuperating in the country, away from her husband and kids, after undergoing surgery for complications related to an ear, nose and throat infection.

The photo was posted hours after her husband was photographed attending the No Time To Die premiere in Monte Carlo with Hollywood actress Sharon Stone, fuelling more rumours of the couple’s supposed marriage woes.

It marks the second time the Prince has been spotted with the Hollywood star after their appearance together at the Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health in September.

Regardless of the persistent rumours plaguing her marriage, the Princess seemed happy and was smiling in the photo which feature the simple caption, “God bless.”

Fans of the royal were quick to offer their messages of support for her recovery, “Hope you have recovered and are healthy and healing well. All our prayers and healing love. Sending blessings and good wishes.”

“Very elegant beautiful person.”

“Happy to see you smile!’

One fan commented that they looked forward to seeing the Princess reunited with her family, “Many blessings to you and your family! I hope to see you in Monaco soon with your husband and children.”

Following Princess Charlene’s ongoing stay in South Africa speculations of a split has steadily increased, especially after missing her 10th wedding anniversary in July.

Prince Albert has attempted to quash rumours in the past of any marriage problems telling People magazine, “She didn’t leave Monaco in a huff!”

“She didn’t leave because she was mad at me or at anybody else. She was going down to South Africa to reassess her Foundation’s work down there and to take a little time off with her brother and some friends.

“It was only supposed to be a weeklong, 10-day maximum stay, and because she had this infection all these medical complications arose.”

Prince Albert recently announced the Princess would be returning to Monaco while talking to RMC Radio but didn’t give an exact date for her return.
