Months after the tragic passing of television presenter Dr. Michael Mosley, his wife, Dr. Clare Bailey has revealed how she plans to honour his “legacy and the impact he had on people’s health and lives”.

While thanking the public for their “incredible” support during such a difficult time, Bailey shared the projects currently in place to honour his memory and work.

“The outpouring of love and support over the past few months has been simply incredible and we are committed to honouring Michael’s legacy and the impact he had on people’s health and lives,” she wrote.

“After pausing to reflect we have decided to keep his social media channels open so that we can keep you updated on the work we are doing to celebrate his life.

“Michael had many projects still in progress and we hope that in time we will still be able to complete these to share them with you. The first of those is ‘Wonders of the Human Body’ a Channel 5 programme due to air later this month.

“Thank you again for your continued support and understanding.”

The touching update prompted an outpouring of support from fans, many grateful that Bailey will be carrying on her late husband’s legacy.

“Thank you Clare, Michael has been such an inspiration to me like many many others. I’m so happy you are going to continue with all the amazing work you and Michael have done and will continue to do. Just wonderful,” one wrote.

“A very special and knowledgeable man. Sending love and thoughts to you and family but he has left a wonderful legacy as have you, thank you.”

“So looking forward to seeing these programs, he’s so very missed,” commented another.

“How wonderful. Thank you; this will mean the world to so many people.”

“Thank you so much for continuing to share Michael and his words of wisdom and kindness with us. Such a great loss, but I can now look forward to even more inspiration and motivation.”

After Mosley went missing on the Greek island of Symi, the four-day search for the 67-year-old ended in tragedy after his body was found in a rocky area, according to police.

At the time of the tragic discovery, Mosley’s wife expressed her devastation over the loss of her husband in a statement issued on her behalf.

“It’s devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband. We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much,” the statement read.

Following an initial post-mortem examination, it was confirmed that there were no injuries on his body, Greek police spokeswoman Konstantia Dimoglidou told the BBC.

His estimated time of death was around 4 pm local time on Wednesday, June 5th. Mosley had left his friends at Agios Nikolaos beach around 1:30 pm for a walk.

The position his body was found in also indicated that he likely died of natural causes, Dimoglidou said, adding that toxicology and histology reports will be carried out.
