‘Love ya heaps’: John Farnham’s son celebrates father’s birthday with throwback pic

It’s a momentous day in the Farnham household as the iconic John Farnham marks his 75th birthday today.

As Australia comes together to extend their heartfelt wishes to the legendary You’re The Voice hitmaker on this milestone occasion, his son James has taken to social media to share his love and admiration for his father.

In tribute, James posted a nostalgic photo showing him alongside his dad at what seems to be a costume party.

It wasn’t just Farnham’s son who wished the entertainment legend all the best on his big day, fans from near and far took to social media to wish Farnham a happy birthday.

The birthday messages come as fans were treated to a welcomed update regarding the Aussie singing sensation after he emerged looking happy and healthy in recent photos following his cancer battle.

The beloved Aussie singer returned to the public eye recently, making an appearance in a series of wedding photos from his son Rob’s special day.

Rob shared the touching snapshots on social media, showing Farnham looking well despite his recent health struggles.

“Shared the happiest moment with my favourite person in the universe and she said I do,” Rob wrote alongside the photos.

“Melissa, my life is forever better that you’re apart of it. You looked radiant, beautiful and elegant. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us and I’m truly honoured to have you by my side as my wife for life.”
