Jimmy Barnes remembers his ‘dear friend’ Jock Zonfrillo in ‘beautiful’ tribute

In a heartfelt tribute, Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes has remembered his close friend and celebrated chef Jock Zonfrillo on the anniversary of his passing.

Barnes took to Instagram to share a touching moment captured on a beach, where a lone bagpipe player performed a soul-stirring melody as Barnes and friends, along with Jock’s family, looked on.

The emotional post, accompanied by a video, captured the essence of their friendship and the profound impact Jock had on those around him.

“On the beach before dawn, a lone piper playing in memory of our dear friend @zonfrillo who left us one year ago,” Barnes began.

“It was a true Scottish morning, cold, wet, windy, sand blowing onto our faces. Yes you were there.”

Barnes’ tribute quickly garnered an outpouring of support and admiration from fans and followers, with many expressing their heartfelt condolences and admiration for the touching tribute.

“A day for us to try to accept that he’s not coming home, that this is forever, that we were lucky he was ours.
