Janet Jackson finally steps out with her baby bump

You haven’t seen much of 50-year-old singer Janet Jackson lately. Since announcing in April she was going to postpone her tour in order to start a family she has very much been out of the spotlight.

When it was revealed Janet and her husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, 41, were having a baby in May, she kept an even lower profile.

No wonder these first photographs of Janet Jackson and her burgeoning baby bump are creating such a stir.

The singer stepped out in London, where she and her husband have a home, overnight in an apparent ‘shopping spree’ for the baby.

“Jackson arrived at the story in a chauffeured black Mercedes along with her bodyguard, her assistant and two others from her entourage,” an eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight.

Greeted at the doors by staff, Janet was then shut inside away from prying cameras however the eyewitness did say that they caught glimpses of Janet inspecting prams.

The mum-to-be looked in good spirits, wearing very comfortable looking black tracksuit pants, a black sweater and a scarf on her outing.

Speculation has been rife on the baby’s due date — some say it’s November — and how Janet and Wassim conceived, given that the chances of a natural conception at Janet’s age are quite small.

It will be Janet’s first child.
