Outspoken actress Bette Midler has expressed outrage over the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court, which allows for individual states to make abortion illegal.
The 76-year-old took to Twitter to respond to “bible-thumping ninnies” who say abortion should be banned because pregnancy is “God’s will”, saying that the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra should be banned as a result of the ruling on June 24.
“Time to ban Viagra. Because if pregnancy is “God’s will”, then so is your limp dick,” Midler shared to social media.

The Beaches star also gave advice to women on an effective way to get child support from men.
“Hi, ladies; just a brief note to remind you to “Save the Sperm”, next time you have sex, so that if you get pregnant, you have the evidence to SUE and WIN 18 years of child support!,” she wrote.
Midler did not shy away from her fury at the “asshole” judges, saying the ruling was an attack on women.
In case you need any further proof that certain states are waging war on women just for being women, 27 states tax tampons. That’s right, every month, in those states, you women have to pay extra for the “luxury” of using a FUCKING TAMPON! #WarOnWomen

The Big Business actress is known for speaking her mind on controversial topics and was most recently in the news in May for her “offensive” stance on breastfeeding.
With the US experiencing a shortage of baby formula, the actress took to Twitter to offer her solution.
“TRY BREASTFEEEDING! It’s free and available on demand,” she wrote.

Social media was fast to respond to Midler’s comments, with many slamming her for her “ignorant” declaration.
What a profoundly offensive & ignorant statement. There are countless reasons why breastfeeding is not an option for many mothers—too many to get into here. And if you’ve been using formula you can’t just flip a switch. Not to mention millions of babies with milk/food allergies…

*Try breastfeeding* in response to the #formulashortage is about as helpful as *buy an electric car* as a solution to high gas prices.
It’s not an option for millions of women.
Once again @BetteMidler is acting like the Danny Devito character in Ruthless People.
Ratio deserved

The impacts of the Supreme Court’s ruling have been felt across the country as the historic Roe v. Wade case has provided the US with half a century of abortion rights.
