An entertaining video of American actor Dick Van Dyke, 96, dancing with his wife Arlene Silver, 52, on Valentine’s day has emerged, and the couple are proving to be groovier than ever.

The video shows the loved-up couple dancing in sync to live jazz music for Silver’s rendition of “Everybody Loves a Lover”.

Despite the 46 years between them, nothing is stopping the couple from showing the world just how healthy their relationship remains. Van Dyke’s age-defying moves were a wonderful sight for viewers, as the couple shared a moment of fun, laughter, and of course, love!

The couple met in 2007 at the 13th Screen Actors Guild Awards where Silver was working before marrying in 2012. The actor told Parade, his decision to wed Silver “was one of the smartest moves I ever made”.

“She’s very mature for her age and I’m very immature for my age so it’s just about right!” he joked.

Further footage of Van Dyke singing a line from the 1985 Doris Day song left fans stunned by how sharp the 96-year-old remains.

“Who’s the most popular personality? I can’t help thinkin’ it’s no one else but me,” he sang with confidence.

Van Dyke has had an outstanding career in American TV and comedy, starring in some of America’s most iconic films and shows including Mary Poppins, Bye Bye Birdie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Dick Van Dyke Show which broadcasted between 1961-1996.

The popular star made guest appearances on television programs including Columbo and The Carol Burnett show and played the main character in American crime series Diagnosis Murder, as well as a number of other minor roles in various films.

Van Dyke turned 96 in December last year and by the looks of his recent dancing skills, he’s feeling as young as ever!
