A riddle found inside a Christmas cracker has sent the internet into meltdown as people from across the world argued over what it means.
Louise Ridley, a freelance journalist from London, called on Twitter for help after she was left confused by a Christmas cracker joke.
The joke read: “What kind of cough medicine does Dracula take? Con medicine.”
Taking to social media to share the dilemma, she wrote: “Twitter — help me, explain this cracker joke. Entire group at fake Christmas is stumped.”

Twitter users were left equally as confused, however some tried their best to crack the riddle.
“It works but you have to say the punch line in the voice of the count from Sesame Street… then its funny,” one user suggested.
Another joked: “They’re geniuses, because the joke is the ultimate con, due to it not being a joke.”
But it didn’t take long for others to point out it was simply a misprint and that the answer was meant to read: “Coffin medicine.”
“Couldn’t stop thinking about your tweet and found a Mumsnet link from dec 2015 asking the same thing lol,” one commentator wrote.
Another added: “I’ve had that one two years running. I never got it,” while a third wrote: “It strikes again!”
A third person added: “It’s been 3 years and Sainsbury’s [UK supermarket] still haven’t fixed this iconic typo.”
It’s not the first time an illusion or riddle has sent the internet into meltdown. In October, there was a photo of a cat shared to Twitter that had the world talking.

The image, which was shared to the social network by Robert Maguire, left thousands completely baffled as they tried to work out if they see a crow or a cat.
While at first glance it appears to be a side profile of a crow on a tiled floor, Maguire confirmed it is actually a black cat that is looking back at the camera.
“This picture of a crow is interesting because… it’s actually a cat,” he wrote in the post.

While from far away it appears to be a crow looking sideways, upon further inspection you can see what many thought was a beak is actually the cat’s ear as it turns its head to face the camera, with its second yellow eye hidden by a shadow.
