KISS bassist Gene Simmons has hit out at people who aren’t vaccinated against Covid-19, labelling them the “enemy”.
Simmons, 72, who once bragged about sleeping with over 5000 women during his heyday seems to have left the sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle behind and has shifted focus to advocating public health.

In a heated radio interview with TalkShopLive the glam rocker told host Steve Harkins, “if you‘re willing to walk among us unvaccinated, you are an enemy”.
“You are not allowed to infect anybody just because you think you‘ve got rights that are delusional,” he said.
“You don‘t have the right to go through a red light – actually the government has the right to tell you to stop. If they tell you you can‘t smoke in a building, you can’t smoke in a building.
“And that’s not because they want to take away your rights – that’s because the rest of us hate it. We don’t want to smell your smoke.”
KISS were forced to reschedule dates for the North American leg of their End of the Road World Tour after band members Simmons and Paul Stanley tested positive for Covid-19 in August.
We will return to the stage this Thursday, September 9th at the @FivePointAmp in Irvine, California! All other shows remain unchanged. @LiveNation

Simmons also took a swipe at politics, claiming he doesn’t support the Republican or Democrat party.
“I don‘t like either one of them. Politics are the enemy. Humanism and humanity is what we should all be concerned about. Love thy neighbour as thyself.”
