Sharon Stone has wowed fans and fellow celebrities alike with her latest snap, showing off her incredible figure in a yellow bikini.

The 63-year-old shared the picture of her grinning happily, posing in the vibrant yellow two-piece on her Instagram on Sunday, captioning the pic “Happy summer”.

The yellow bikini was very flattering on the Basic Instinct star, and featured the 1980s-style high waist cut that has made a comeback in recent years.

Fellow celebrities and fans were quick to comment on the post, attracting over 160,000 likes and more than 4,300 comments.

Fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis, 62, commented, “OK…. JUST…. WOW”.

While actress Charmed Rose McGowan said, “You deserve all the Oscars that ever existed”.

Goldie Hawn’s daughter, actress Kate Hudson, was apparently left speechless, instead choosing to share her thoughts on the picture with a series of yellow hearts, while Four Weddings and a Funeral star Andie McDowell shared a fire emoji.

The photo comes just a few months after Stone surprised many with claims that she’d never thought of herself as “that sexy”, despite being well-known and adored as one of Hollywood’s longest-reigning sex symbols. In September she told Town & Country magazine that even at 62, people still want to “see her boobs”, though she’s glad that as she’s aged she’s been able to step into more “creatively rewarding” roles”.

“I mean, I never thought I was that sexy,” she said. “When I did Basic Instinct, I explored my dark side and made friends with my dark side. I got to not be afraid of my own self. I think people find that sexy.

“People still want to see my boobs … It’s like, ‘Really? Grow up!’”

Stone said she’s able to be less self-conscious about the lines on her face now that she’s focusing on roles on the small-screen, saying “They were the size of a highway on a screen in a movie theater,” she said. “You don’t really see it on TV.”
