Sharon Stone leaves fans awestruck during surprise television appearance in golden ensemble 

Saturday Night Live kickstarted its first episode of 2023 with a bang, and while they had an exciting lineup of guests and musical performances, it was the unannounced appearance of Sharon Stone that left viewers amazed.

Appearing in a sultry gold gown, the 64-year-old Basic Instinct star mesmerised the audience as she took the stage alongside singer Sam Smith for the debut performance of his new song Gloria.

On stage, the bombshell was propped on her side striking a seductive pose. The strapless number featured a long sequence trail, a thigh-high slit and a corseted top that hugged her figure perfectly.

She wore satin, champagne-coloured, pointed-toe pumps and completed her look with big gold hooped earrings.

Following her surprise appearance, Stone took to Instagram to thank Smith and credit the styling team behind her look.

“To the amazing @samsmith! What a fun weekend!” she wrote.

Fans were in awe of Smith’s performance and Stone’s glamorous look, with many taking to social media to share their reactions to her appearance.

Stone’s surprise performance comes just two months after undergoing the wrong procedure for a misdiagnosed tumour.

In early November, the actress took to social media encouraging women to get a “second opinion” when it comes to their health diagnosis.

“Just had another misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure,” Stone wrote in a message to Twitter.

After consulting another doctor, Stone learned that she had a “large fibroid tumour that must come out”.

Following her health scare, Stone is now pushing women to take action when it comes to their health as she also tweeted a link to a study titled Women More Likely Than Men to Suffer Misdiagnosis, According to Studies, asking that they take the time to read the article.

Since then, the actress has maintained a low profile, keeping fans updated with her life by occasionally sharing photos of her family or her art on her Instagram page.
