Lisa Curry reunited with ex-husband Grant Kenny this week, as the family came together to celebrate daughter Morgan’s baby shower. Morgan and husband Ryan Gruell are already parents to two-year-old Flynn.

The happy occasion comes just three weeks after Lisa and grant’s eldest daughter Jaimi passed away at the age of 33, following a battle with a long-term illness.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the 58-year-old Olympian shared four photos from the event, which looks to have been hosted at Lisa’s Sunshine Coast property in Maleny. “Nearly ready to be a granny, pa, gigi and opa again,” she wrote. “Beautiful afternoon for a baby shower with a beautiful couple. Will baby be pink or blue?”

The first photograph showed Lisa and Grant standing alongside Morgan, Ryan and Flynn, as well as Ryan’s parents. The other snaps included one of Morgan and Flynn, as well as a shot of the cake and some of the decorations.

Lisa’s son-in-law Ryan Gruell thanked her for hosting the event, writing: “Thank you for hosting the baby sbower and being the amazing granny you are.”

The post comes just days after the former competitive swimmer revealed that she has started to see signs that her eldest daughter’s spirit may still be around. Taking to social media on Sunday morning, the 58-year-old revealed she had noticed something unusual whilst tending to her cows with grandson Flynn at the family’s Sunshine Coast property.

“My little boo boo came for a sleepover just after we farewelled our Jaimi, and in the morning we went to visit our cows,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a sweet photograph of herself with her young grandson. “Elsy, our only girl cow was sprinkled in little white flowers. The other cows didn’t have any and we’ve never seen it before … look on the last photo you can see the little cute flowers. Flynn and I said that was Jaimi saying hello.”

The mother of three went on to say that she has noticed other signs following the death of her eldest child. “Things that have never happened before and all related to Jaimi,” she continued. “Coincidences? …. Or is it real that our loved ones are around? I like the feeling that she is around us in some way, but can’t accept she’s not. We miss you Jaimi.”
