It’s official! Karl Stefanovic confirms wife Jasmine Yarbrough is pregnant

After weeks of speculation, television star Karl Stefanovic has finally broken his silence and confirmed that his wife of one-year Karl Stefanovic is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

The 45-year-old, who is set to return to the helm of the Today show in January, shared an image of himself on the beach on social media just hours ago, alongside a rather tongue-in-cheek caption in which he appeared to be poking fun at his own figure.

However the choice of emoji Karl used didn’t go unnoticed by fans as he chose to finish the seemingly joking message with a baby symbol. Referencing the rumours that he is set to become a father for the fourth time, he wrote: “After a great deal of speculation…the rumours are true.”

Karl shared the post after images of Jasmine, 35, appeared on multiple news websites on Monday, showing the shoe designer appearing to show off an evident baby bump in a black swimsuit on the beach.

Fans were quick to comment on the Instagram post and many people wished the couple, who tied the knot in Mexico last December, the best for their impending arrival.

Fellow Channel Nine star Leila McKinnon wrote: “The happiest news, love to you both.”

While footy WAG Phoebe Burgess wrote: “Hahaha love you two, sorry three!! So excited for your growing family. Love @jasyarby @karlstefanovic_”

And Nine reporter Jade Robran wrote: “That’s a world first miracle … on a serious note, congratulations to you and your bride.”

Speculation that the couple were expecting a child together ramped up in recent weeks after photographs emerged on some of Jasmine’s friends Instagram accounts appearing to show the Mara & Mine co-founder celebrating her baby shower earlier this month.

Karl is already father to Jackson, 19, Ava, 13, and River, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn.
