Julie Bishop has been bringing us an array of fabulous outfits over the last couple of weeks, and she’s done it again, this time stepping out in a mini zebra-print dress.
The former foreign affairs minister was attending a charity event organised by the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation to help raise much-needed funds for emergency medical equipment.
“Delighted to help raise over $100k at a fabulous event in mid June organised by @toowoomba_hospital_foundation for much needed emergency medical equipment,” she captioned the post. “Very generous community! And a pair [of shoes] raised $8.5k! Thank you.”
For the outing, the 64-year-old looked incredible in the statement dress, which stopped just above the knees and featured a high neck and long sleeves. Julie coordinated the outfit with black stockings, stilettos, while she wore her hair up in a stylish up-do.
Fans of Julie’s were quick to praise the former pollie on her fundraising efforts, with one writing: “That’s so great! Well done.” Another added: “Go you good thing.” And a third commented: “Fantastic Julie.”
Julie’s outing comes just a few weeks after she stepped out alongside her partner David Panton to the attend the annual charity gala for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, and sported a set of show-stopping white gold and diamond jewellery from French luxury jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels. According to The Daily Mail, the elegant necklace she wore retails for $224,000 and the pair of matching earrings go for $41,000.
Bishop also showed off her impeccable fashion sense in a black floor-length gown that hugged her toned figure and featured a cut-out back. She finished off the outfit with a simple black evening bag and wore her hair swept up in an elegant up-do.
Meanwhile, it comes after Julie was honoured by Toy Giant Mattel as Barbie’s official 2021 role model for Australia, and gifted a doll made in her likeness.
