“My brother lives in Ireland now so I haven’t seen him for three years and he’s coming home for Christmas and I honestly can’t wait to see him,” Ruffo said.

Besides his girlfriend, Ruffo’s brother is his “closest” companion with the star previously claiming that navigating the pandemic and his second bout with cancer without Michael’s physical presence was a challenge.

“We’re thick as thieves. Honestly, he is my hero. He is everything to me. And I cannot wait to see him. I don’t know how I’m going to react, I cannot wait, he’s everything,” Ruffo said.

Ruffo’s arrival in Perth also comes after the star wrapped up his final chemotherapy session for 2022, marking another accomplishment in his cancer journey.

“Another year of chemotherapy done, it wasn’t easy but I made it through,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Can’t wait to have a few weeks break over Christmas & spend some well-earned time with my family.”
