It’s a big week for award-winning Australian actor, Hugh Jackman, as he made his 54th trip around the sun on Wednesday, October 12.
Whether you know him as a mutant, circus ringleader, or musical man, Jackman is no doubt a triple threat when it comes to entertainment, becoming one of the most loved and praised actors in Hollywood.
So, to celebrate his birthday, fans of the actor took to social media to share well-wishes and touching birthday messages.
Happy Birthday, Hugh. This year, I’m giving you the gift of being much worse than you at singing and dancing. But at least there’s Will and Octavia! ???? pic.twitter.com/dlLgXc0TQE

While Jackman received a plethora of birthday messages, the actor opted to celebrate his special day with some low-key quality time with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 66, and their beloved pooch, Allegra.
The couple were spotted loved up in each other’s arms as they strolled the streets of New York, making the most of the morning.
The actor is no doubt savouring these sweet moments with Allegra after losing his lovable French bulldog, Dali, who passed away in August just days before his 12th birthday.
Jackman adopted Dali back in 2010 and since then the pooch has featured regularly alongside the star on his social media feed.
In one post from May 2021, Jackman had previously joked that while Dali may be a stubborn dog, he was loved by everyone in the family.
“When Dali joined our family, we had a trainer come to the apartment. He walked in and said “Oh you have a Frenchie .. I’m not going to waste my time or take your money,'” he had written.
“We love Dali. Trained or not.”
Dali’s death isn’t the only tragedy the Jackman family have experienced recently. Last September the X-Men actor announced that his father, Christopher John Jackman, “peacefully passed away” during the early hours of Father’s Day.
