Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay couldn’t hold back his excitement as he revealed his son Jack has joined the Royal Marines, making him the “proudest father”.
The father-of-five, 53, shared the good news in a sweet post on Instagram on Friday. He posted the heartfelt message alongside an image of Jack in his new uniform, and an image of the Ramsay boys posing together, with cute little one-year-old Oscar stealing the show.
“Can’t tell you enough how proud I am of this young man,” he wrote. “Jack Ramsay you’ve made me feel like the proudest father today congrats on joining @royalmarines what [an] amazing achievement.”

A number of fans of the popular British chef were quick to congratulate Jack on the amazing achievement, with one writing: “Absolutely incredible Jack and congratulations.”

And it’s no secret the celebrity chef, who became famous for his short temper and unique way with words in the kitchen, loves his children. Earlier this year, Gordon showed off his softer side as he delighted fans with a new photo of his lookalike son Oscar. The pair have quickly become the dynamic duo with fans always looking forward to what the celebrity chef and his adorable one-year-old son are getting up to.
The sweet photo showed Gordon holding hands with his son as they strolled down the beach with the caption: “Off for an evening walk with @oscarjramsay”. Another snap shared by the Hell’s Kitchen star showed just how similar the father and son duo really are.
The picture showed Oscar sitting on Gordon’s shoulders with the pair grinning from ear to ear. One commenter seemed to perfectly capture the feeling by writing: “The best moments in life”.
