Dancing with the Stars host Grant Denyer caught fans’ attention on Saturday by uploading an adorable video of himself dancing with his seven-year-old daughter Sailor.

In the clip, the duo can be seen letting their hair down and having fun in a spur-of-the-moment dancing session. At one point in the video, Grant lifts his daughter over his head as she holds her arms out wide.

Sharing the hilarious dance video on Instagram, Grant captioned the post: “The first daddy daughter combo on @dancingon10.”

Many users were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: “Father and daughter goals.”

Another added: “Omg this is the best! What a good dad!”

While a third wrote: “Beautiful. Making cherished memories your daughter will hold in her heart forever.”

It comes after Channel 10 announced it was reviving Dancing with the Stars in November, with Grant and Amanda Keller to host the star-studded series that puts celebrities through their paces with a challenging new dance routine every week.

Last month it was revealed that Karl Stefanovic’s ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn will be joining a host of household names.

The former journalist, who divorced ex-Today host Karl in 2016, revealed she was unsure about taking on the challenge at first, but revealed how her late father convinced her to give the talent show a go before he passed away.

“I decided to do it because it was one of the last conversations I had with my dad before he passed away,” she said. “It had been offered to me and at first I thought, no that’s crazy. I couldn’t possibly do that. If you don’t do something, an opportunity that you never thought would come up and if you said no … you will regret it one day. And I thought ‘OK so let’s go for it’.”

Joining Cassandra when the show debuts on Monday 18 February will be Studio 10 favourite Denise Scott who is the oldest star to have signed up to take part in the talent competition this year, along with Australian Idol star Courtney Act and actor turned charity fundraiser Samuel Johnson and former West Indies test cricketer Sir Curtly Ambrose.
