He’s best known for his huge temper and outrageous outbursts on his TV shows, but British chef Gordon Ramsay has left fans surprised after sharing a throwback photo from when he was a teenager — and let’s just say he has changed quite a bit since his teenage years.
The celebrity chef, 53, posted the fresh-faced photo on Instagram in honour of the social media site’s online Graduation 2020 celebrations, sparking a huge reaction from his followers who are more used to seeing him in his chef’s uniform. Gordon captioned the image: “#classof2020 I think I won ‘Most Likely to Find the Lamb Sauce’… guess that wasn’t true.”
The photo shows the father-of-five clutching an engraved trophy while wearing a casual grey t-shirt and sporting a floppy boyish haircut. Fans were surprised and impressed with his teenage look, with one gushing that he looked like a young Leonardo Dicaprio.
Another added: “Very good looking young man.” While a third said: “You were a hottie back then.” And another commented: “Crikey Gordon Ramsay you were a looker.”

This isn’t the first time the celebrity chef has made waves on social media. The 53-year-old regularly shares photos of his five children and left fans swooning after he showed off his impressive physique when he posed alongside his sons Jack and Oscar at the beach in December last year.
The three Ramsay men all donned matching pairs of festive red swimmers for the photograph as Gordon and Jack, 19, held tightly onto baby Oscar’s hands as the one-year-old tot looked off into the distance. Sharing the photo on Instagram, Gordon revealed that the trio had received the bright red shorts as a Christmas present, with Oscar sporting a tiny pair that fell below his knees. He wrote: “New shorts for Christmas.”
