Bert Newton rushed back to hospital

Nine News has reported that Australian Television legend, Bert Newton, has been rushed to emergency with pneumonia complications.

The 79-year-old has been battling the illness for over five weeks with doctors telling Nine News that the star will be undergoing x-rays to try to determine the cause of the pneumonia.

The popular Gold Logie winning host was forced to miss out on last weekends Logies due to the illness but Patti brought him in spirit with a classic cover of TV Week embroidered on her flashy gold jacket.

Patti has also taken a swipe at magazines on her official Instagram over reports of issues between her and Bert.
