The world of entertainment is mourning the untimely loss of acclaimed actor Adrian Schiller, whose sudden passing has left his family, friends, and fans devastated.

His agent, Scott Marshall Partners, confirmed the heartbreaking news of his passing, leaving fans and colleagues alike in shock.

“He has died far too soon and we, his family and close friends, are devastated by the loss,” Marshall said.

“His death was sudden and unexpected and no further details around its cause are yet available.

“A prodigiously talented actor, he had just returned from Sydney, where he had been appearing in The Lehman Trilogy and was looking forward to continuing the international tour in San Francisco.”

Born on February 21, 1964, amidst the bustling streets of London, England, Schiller embarked on a remarkable journey in the realm of acting that stretched across three decades.

His captivating presence first graced the screen in 1992 in the acclaimed Prime Suspect 2 alongside the iconic Helen Mirren.

Venturing further into the realm of television, he left a lasting mark with appearances in renowned series like the BBC’s Doctor Who and notable TV films such as Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal.

While Schiller sporadically delved into the world of cinema, earning praise for his roles in notable films like the critically acclaimed The Danish Girl (2015) and the 2017 Hollywood adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, his true acclaim rested in his television portrayals.

Particularly renowned for his portrayal of the esteemed footman, Mr. Cornelius Penge, in ITV’s Victoria, as well as his compelling presence in BBC Two and Netflix’s The Last Kingdom, Schiller carved a lasting legacy in the annals of television history.
