Ash Barty celebrates son Hayden’s birthday with a glimpse of baby daughter Jordan

Retired tennis superstar and Aussie icon Ash Barty has given fans a double dose of joy — celebrating her son Hayden’s second birthday while also sharing a new glimpse of her baby daughter, Jordan.

The former world No. 1 took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 2 to mark the special occasion, posting a heartwarming image of her young family gathered around a table adorned with cupcakes, two candles glowing proudly in front of the birthday boy.

The photo shows Barty beaming alongside husband Garry Kissick, with little Hayden front and centre — and baby Jordan in her mother’s arms.

“Cake for breakfast,” she wrote.

“Happy 2nd birthday little man! We love you.”

The sweet moment quickly captured hearts across the country, with fans flooding the comments to send birthday wishes and celebrate the growing family.

“Happy birthday! Well done team x,” one commented.

“Happy 2nd birthday Hayden! What a great family pic, hope all is going well xx.”

“What a beautiful family,” commented another.

“Awwww he loves toy story too like my grandson happy birthday hayden.”

Barty delighted fans across the country last month when she announced the birth of her second child.

The beloved former world No. 1 took to Instagram to make the announcement, posting a heartwarming photo of her newborn daughter.

“Welcome to the world, Jordan 💕,” she wrote at the time.

“You are loved unconditionally and we are so grateful to have you in our arms, gorgeous girl.”

Although Barty is no stranger to high-pressure moments on the court, she’s admitted that parenthood presents its own kind of challenge. In a candid interview with the Herald Sunshe opened up about the rollercoaster of motherhood.

“It’s been probably the best part of my life, being able to share this next chapter with my husband Garry, and we have no idea what we’re doing but he’s [Hayden] alive and he’s happy,” she told the publication at the time.

Reflecting on the arrival of their second child, she added, “Terrified for what is going to come next but we’ll figure it out, I’m sure.”
