American clothing retailer, American Apparel, have just revealed their latest lingerie advertising campaign and the nearly nude star is a 62-year-old woman.
Jackie O’Shaughnessy was spotted on a footpath in Manhattan two years ago while she stopped to break for a cigarette and she began modelling for the retailer. This is her first ever lingerie shoot and she looks happy, comfortable and proud.
It’s so wonderful to see beautiful women of all ages modelling, with an indifference to age, but some media outlets are questioning whether this is merely a publicity stunt for the retailer.
We believe that women are beautiful at all ages, and this could spark an industry trend. But have you say and tell us what you think.
