Ingredients:
- 20g butter
- 2 large red onions, cut into wedges
- 1 garlic clover, crushed
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup (130g) whole-egg mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 (740g) angus beef burgers
- 4 tasty cheese slices
- 4 freshly baked round rolls, split
- 1 green oak leaf lettuce, leaves separated
- 225g can sliced beetroot, drained
- 1 vine-ripened tomato, thickly sliced
- Barbecue sauce, to serve
