This super tasty and light dish is also so incredibly easy to make. It’s egg-free and uses natural honey rather of a whole lot of sugar. This refreshing treat will definitely be ideal for an afternoon snack or a light dessert. Not only is it good for you but it is so easy to make. Just whip up this delightful mousse in under 10 minutes and pop into the fridge to help you unwind from the day and give yourself a bit of a treat. With only five ingredients, there’s no way you can mess this one up. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 200g or 3 large bananas, chopped, plus extra to serve
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 cup fresh cream
  • 4 drops lime juice
  • Shaved chocolate, to serve

Method

  1. Add chopped bananas to blender along with honey. Add lime juice. Blend to a smooth puree without chunks. Add fresh cream. Pulse 6 to 8 times to combine completely.
  2. Spoon mousse into serving containers. Put into refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. 
  3. Top with extra banana slices and shaved chocolate. Serve.
