On those nights when you don’t feel like cooking, you can’t go past a cheesy potato galette. This crispy galette is so easy to make with only four ingredients you most likely already have lying around in your kitchen. Pair it up with a nice piece of steak or some steamed veggies and enjoy!
If you’re looking to add something else, try serving with sour cream and chives for an even tastier flavour.
Ingredients
- 80g butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 50g parmesan cheese
- 1kg red potatoes
Method
- Preheat oven to 200C. Brush a 20cm springform pan with melted butter.
- Combine remaining butter and crushed garlic in a small bowl. Peel potatoes and slice as thinly as possible. Line base of the pan with a layer of potato slices, overlapping slightly.
- Brush with butter. Sprinkle over two tablespoons cheese and season with salt and pepper. Repeat layers four times to make a total of five layers.
- Bake, uncovered, for 50 to 55 minutes. Stand for five minutes before serving.
