With this song came great confusion as people thought the Jackson Five, not the actual band, sang it!

After a five-week stay at number one in 1970 it was revealed that the songwriter, George Jackson, actually wrote it with the Jackson Five in mind.

The family band that sang this song is still active and has sold over 102 million records worldwide.

It was later revealed that the Jackson Five nearly recorded the song but chose “ABC” instead.
