In 1968, this hit by Diana Ross and the Supremes ended the reign of The Beatles “Hey Jude” after nine weeks.

The funky sounds and fantastic lyric performance in this song made it an instant hit, topping the Australian, UK, US and Canadian charts within two months of its release.

Covers include the band Sweet Sensation who’s rendition earned it number 13 on the charts and sisters Toya and Janet Jackson in 1994.
