“Don’t give up on us” is a song by David Soul. On April 11th 1977, it hit number one on the Billboard charts round the world. It stayed there for just one week, but remains memorable to many because of its singer, a widely known TV star “Hutch” from Starsky and Hutch. It also spent four weeks at #1 on the UK Singles Chart in January of 1977.
When he returned to music in the late 1970s, David Soul had been best known for his role in Starsky and Hutch which ran from 1975 to 1979.
