Food fans are in for a treat this morning, with cook Nigella Lawson gracing the Today show set alongside co-host Lisa Wilkinson, in what is being touted as her only Australian TV interview.
Wilkinson posted a snap of Lawson cooking in her own kitchen last night, praising the celebrity as “such a cool chick”.
Lawson’s likely in Australia to launch her new book, called At My Table: A Celebration of Home Cooking, which came out in the UK last month. The book promises to contain more than 100 new recipes that are “warming comforting, and inspirational”.
There certainly sounds like there’s some yummy stuff in there, including the sticky toffee pudding that Lawson often coks on television. Others include ’emergency brownies’, white chocolate cheesecake, garlicky roast potatoes with oregano and feta and a chicken-and-pea ‘traybake’.
It’s Lawson’s tenth cook book, starting with her famous How to Eat and following up with the hugely successful How to be a Domestic Goddess.
