Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda and Candice Bergen are teaming up for a new movie, but you won’t believe what it is about.

While the independent movie is still in pre-production Deadline has revealed it is called Book Club and is about lifelong friends in their 60’s whose loves change forever after reading the erotic fiction novel Fifty Shades of Grey at their monthly book club. Keaton’s character is recently widowed, Bergen’s character is going through a decades-old divorce, and Fonda’s character prefers her relationships with men to be commitment-free. A fourth member of the club has yet to be named.

Increasing age has not stopped this trio from scoring roles, especially with Netflix.

For 71-year-old Keaton you can catch her in Netflix’s Divanation with Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn.

Fonda has also been busy. The 79-year-old is starring opposite Robert Redford in Our Souls At Night. Grace and Frankie, a Netflix show in which she starts with Lily Tomlin, below with Fonda, has been renewed for a fourth season.

Former Murphy Brown star, Bergen, who is now 70, will feature in The Meyerowitz Stories on Netflix with Emma Thompson, Dustin Hoffman, Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller. She will also feature in a romantic comedy with Reese Witherspoon.

Have you read the book they are referring to? Or seen the movies?
