It was the night of nights in the theatre community last night as stars lined the red carpet for the Olivier Awards in London.

Among the star-studded line-up it was not easy to miss Cyndi Lauper, who debuted a pink bob with long pieces, and a very rocking look.

The 62-year-old “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” singer wore a biker jacket and wide-legged white pants, plus fingerless gloves.

She was attending the awards as her hit musical Kinky Boots was nominated and won Best New Musical, and she also will star in The Bodyguard on London’s West End later this year.

Cyndi found time to catch up with Dame Judi Dench, who won her eighth Olivier for her best supporting actress role as Paulina in Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company’s production of The Winter’s Tale.

No-one has won as many Oliviers for acting since the awards began 40 years ago.

The pair looked very happy as they chatted away and posed for photographs.

Off the stage, Cyndi is just about to release her new album Detour, which features refurbished country classics from the 40s to the 60s.

Her new single “Funnel of Love has just been released, and you can watch below:

Take a look at Cyndi’s new look and tell us, do you love it? Would you dye your hair a bold colour?
