Not if you are a gardener and they are eating your favourite plants.

Possums are known to be fond of eating new plant growth, fruit on fruit trees and certain types of popular plants like succulents.

Not only that, while on the prowl they tend to knock over potplants and dig holes in other areas.

Rather than hiding away all your precious plants every night before the nocturnal creatures come out on the prowl, brew yourself a cup of tea.

Put the brew in a spray bottle and spray over the plants the possums seem to like, and around other areas they are visiting.

You will need to reapply after a heavy rain or after a regular bout of watering.
