Vanilla Soft Serve and enter our amazing giveaway

Whether you serve it in a cone or a bowl with your favourite toppings, vanilla soft serve is a family favourite. This recipe uses milk, cream and vanilla essence to make a batch in the Cuisinart Frost Fusion 6-in-1 Slushy & Soft Serve Maker.

Makes: About 10 servings

Ingredients

450ml full cream milk
250ml pure cream
120g caster sugar
14ml vanilla essence
1g salt

Method

Combine the caster sugar and salt in a bowl. Add the milk and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Add the cream and vanilla essence, then mix to combine.
Select the Soft Serve program on the Cuisinart Frost Fusion, pour the mixture into the unit and press the Start/Stop button.
The soft serve should be ready in around 30 minutes. The machine will beep three times, then activate keep-cool mode for a further 30 minutes.
Serve in cones or bowls with your favourite toppings.
Note: Homemade soft serve may have a different texture from commercial soft serve.
