Neil Fingleton, Game of Thrones giant and UK’s tallest British born man, has died at the age of 36.
He was larger than life, at 7 foot 7.5 inches tall.
At 16 he was signed up for an American Sports scholarship but after four years he had a back injury which put an end to that career.
Then he turned to focused on an acting career, with Bond villains his inspiration.
Described as a gentle giant, he went on to play roles in X-Men: First Class, Doctor Who and Jupiter Ascending.
He was perhaps best knows for his role as Mag the Mighty in the hugely popular Game of Thrones television series.
Reports say he died on Saturday, February 25, from heart failure.
Friends, stars, and characters, from Game of Thrones, have paid their respects to the star via social media.
