He’s one of the world’s most recognisable music artists, but if you’ve ever wondered what Keith Urban looked like in his younger years, look no further.
His loving wife Nicole Kidman shared a photograph on Instagram on Thursday evening that showed fans what the ‘Tonight I Wanna Cry’ singer looked like decades ago.
“Guess who?” she asked her 3.7 million followers, alongside a black and white photograph of a handsome young musician.
The photo, of course, was of her husband of 13 years. The photograph shows a much younger Keith with long locks and holding an electric guitar.
And, while he’s famous for showing off his tattoos and wearing V-neck shirts, Keith wore a trendy jacket and a pair of jeans for the vintage photograph. Nicole’s post was no match for her husband’s fans, who quickly identified that he was the young lad in the photograph.
One fan wrote: “Your gorgeous husband… handsome and beautiful.”
Another comment read: “He was ‘Hot’ then, and he is still ‘Hot’ today!!”
A third added: “He met with a great deal of unexpected adversity. I sat 3rd row at his first headlining show … a role model for anyone that wishes to push through … truly an awesome gentleman.”
One person incorrectly guessed that the photo was of Nicole’s ex-husband, Tom Cruise.
It’s been a busy few months for Keith. In addition to selling out shows across the world, the 51-year-old paid tribute to the late Elvis for a special performance last month.
He joined forces with US rapper and musician Post Malone for an incredible duet, which aired on US television as part of the Elvis All-Star Tribute show.
Sat side by side on stage with guitars, both singers sang Elvis Presley’s ‘Baby, What You Want Me To Do’ together, before showing off their voices with their own solo parts – and they were pitch perfect from start to finish.
As for Nicole, footage from her very first movie recently went viral. Bush Christmas – which was first released in 1983 – starred Nicole when she was just 14 years old.
A far cry from her modern looks, Nicole had curly locks and ditched her ball gowns for overalls for the role. She appeared in the film as Helen – a young teenager whose father was a cattle farmer in outback.
