Karl Stefanovic became a dad for the fourth time last week, as his wife of almost 18-months, Jasmine Yarbrough, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

The couple shared their happy news with the public less than 24 hours after Harper May was born, and it seems that the public can expect to see much more of the adorable bub in the coming weeks and months as proud dad Karl has already shared a sweet image on social media.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Today show host shared a snap of Harper taking a nap on his chest, wrapped in a cute striped hospital blanket.

“Harper May. May your life be filled with as much love as I feel. My children. My family. My wife. My life,” the 45-year-old presenter wrote alongside the image.

The couple shared their happy news via the Today show on Saturday morning, as Karl’s colleague and friend Richard Wilkins revealed that Harper entered the world just after midday on Friday weighing 2.9kg.

“Harper and Jasmine are doing well and dad had a great night’s sleep,” Karl told Today. “I am in awe. Harper is absolutely perfect.”

The Channel Nine breakfast show also uploaded a sweet photograph onto their Instagram page, alongside the caption: “Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine Yarbrough have welcomed the arrival of a baby girl.”

Many people congratulated the couple on their new arrival, with one person writing on social media: “Congratulations Karl & Jasmine she is absolutely adorable. I wish you both all the very best!” Another said: “Awwww so precious God bless your bundle of joy Karl & Jasmine.”

While another well-wisher wrote: “Oh how beautiful little Harper is. Congratulations.”
