Jelena Dokic reveals incredible body transformation in jaw-dropping bikini snap

She’s undergone a dramatic transformation in recent months, shedding more than 30 kilos and completely overhauling her lifestyle — and now Jelena Dokic is almost unrecognisable as she shared another jaw-dropping update on social media.

The Croatian-born 36-year-old, who hung up her racquet in 2014, bravely took to social media this week to share a stunning bikini snap.

For the past year Jelena, who recently became a Jenny Craig ambassador, has been toughing it out with a healthy eating overhaul and dedicated exercise regime in hopes of losing some extra kilograms gained through years of emotional eating following her exit from the professional tennis circuit.

In a post shared on Instagram, the former world number four, looked amazing in the cheeky snap, which showed off her incredible weight loss journey.

She captioned the post: “Good morning!! Another beautiful summer morning in Croatia and I am in full vacation mode. Morning swims are the best.”

Since posting the photo on Monday, the tennis great has received a flurry of supportive comments from fans, who commended her on her weight loss, with one writing: “You do look fabulous Jelena & I hope more importantly you feel fabulous.”

Another wrote: “Jelena you look amazing and I hope your feeling as good as you look [sic].”

While a third wrote: “Wow Jelena. You look amazing. You’ve put in so much effort. And definitely reaping the rewards now.”

“Wow Jelena, your transformation is amazing! You have always been a fighter! A true inspiration!” another social media user wrote.

Jelena regularly documents her fitness journey on social media, by sharing gym selfies and images of her food with fans.

Meanwhile, speaking to the Herald Sun earlier this year, Jelena explained that she is aiming to hit 66kg, almost halving her heaviest weight of 120kg.

The tennis coach and commentator revealed there were many factors that contributed to her weight gain including the physical and mental abuse from her father Damir, along with metal health battles, a thyroid condition and glandular fever.

“I was thrown into retirement not knowing what direction I wanted to go in,” she said. “When you’re a professional athlete, you’re in this bubble that’s not reality – everything is done for you … training, food, travel, management, so going back into real life was very different.”
