Singing legend Andrea Bocelli wowed crowds at a music festival on Tuesday night and his appearance was made all the more special as his 21-year-old son Matteo joined him on stage for an emotional duet.

Andrea and Matteo sent fans wild as the pair belted out their heartfelt song ‘Fall On Me’ taken from the soundtrack of the Disney movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms at the 69th Sanremo Music Festival in Italy.

Andrea’s pride is evident as he wraps his arm around Matteo during the performance and continues to sing beside him. The moving performance even won them a standing ovation, according to Italian news site The Local.

Following the show, Matteo also shared a number of photos from the performance on social media, including one sweet shot showing the father and son duo smiling on stage.

Last year the pair delighted fans when they released the music video for the track on YouTube, proving that the 60-year-old has indeed passed on his musical talents to his son. Taking over for the next verse, he then shows off his own stunning vocals before the pair come together in amazing harmonies later in the tune.

The video meanwhile shows the pair back to back as they both perform, before Matteo lovingly guides his father across a room. Mid-way through, fans are treated to a stream of intimate family photos of Matteo’s childhood, showing him cuddling his father as he laughs beside him.
