She’s known for her outrageous styles and statement boot collection, and Diane Keaton didn’t disappoint with a very devil-may-care appearance on The Ellen Show this week. But then, if you can’t behave however you want by the age of 72, when can you?

Keaton pulled out some impressive dance moves, gyrating in front of shocked talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres on stage – all while towering in some eye-popping white boots.

Diane wore one of what must be many, many black coats in her wardrobe, along with a chunky matching belt, for the appearance, while swapping her usual stylish hats for a ‘City of Flight’ cap. Handing a matching black version to Ellen, the pair looked like a comedy act on stage together.

However, it was the actress’ boots that really stole the limelight, and she even stopped to wave her arm down to show them off as she made her grand entrance.

Not wasting any time, she began twisting her hips round, before greeting her friend. Afterwards, she stepped back out from the table to show off some more moves – in no hurry to take a seat and waste all that endless energy.

Clearly a fan of the whole scene, Diane later shared a clip of her moves on her own Instagram page, writing: “THIS IS HOW I FEEL WHEN I GET TO SEE ELLEN! @theellenshow.”

And the hilarious performance didn’t end there, as she continued to surprise her audience during her chat too. When Ellen told her that U2 frontman Bono was backstage, Diane couldn’t help asking if he’d be interested in a date with her.

Although Ellen quickly pointed out that Bono was happily married to wife Alison Stewart, along with four children, but it didn’t deter Diane.

“Oh that doesn’t matter. I’m fine with that. I don’t care,” she replied. “I’ve not dated a musician. I’d like to. What do you think my chances are though seriously? Do you think Bono’s going to come up to me and say, ‘Diane, can I date you?’.”

The actress went on to joke that a man’s marriage didn’t have to get in the way of a relationship. “Do I want to be on the road? No, I don’t want to do that. Bono has to come to me,” she said. “There are certain requirements. You know, you can’t give too much to these guys.”

And that wasn’t the only revelation Diane had for the audience. Ellen later asked her guest which three places she’d like to touch a man, to which the seasoned actress replied: “I’d like to touch a man inside his mouth. I would like to touch a man in an area special. The area where the man is happy, and then I would like to touch a man just anywhere at all!”
