About Susan Segal

My name is Susan Segal, I am a baby boomer, blogger & serial traveller. I left Australia to travel when I was 17. I met and married my husband a year later and we are still together after 42 years. We have two sons aged 35 & 40 and two grandsons aged 5 & 7. I qualified as an illumination engineer as a mature age student but have been retired for nine years now. After retiring we started travelling around Australia in a 4x4 towing a caravan. We thought we might last six months, but three years and 74,000km later we finally packed it in and settled down again to suburban life until, that is, we saw this truck-based motorhome for sale a year ago and have been on the road again ever since. Can't get enough of this amazing continent – our island home.
